To enable remote network connection to a Redfish POS database we need to enable 3 firewall exceptions.

    1. Go to Control Panel,>System and Security>Firewall settings>Advanced Settings. Create a new Inbound and Outbound rule for port number 1434 UDP.

    2. Go to Control Panel,>System and Security>Firewall settings>Allow a program or feature through Windows Firewall. Click on the “Allow another program” Button. When the box pops up, click browse and navigate to C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL11.REDFISHDB2\MSSQL\Binn Select the Sqlservr.exe. Click the Open button, then Add button.

Try connecting from another network location.
